Apply for a grant

We want to help you fund a project.  You can fill in the application form and send it to us by email or post.  You will get a decision within six weeks of us receiving a complete application.  

• Before you apply, please read our Guide for applicants 
  - 325KB  to make sure you are eligible.
• Download an application form 
  - 749KB and save it.  You will need to have Adobe Reader version 9 on your computer for this to work.

Email to the completed application to investinginideasapplications@biglotteryfund.org.uk a minimum of three months before you want your project idea to start.

I am confused because there are many lottery distributors - how do I know I'm applying to the right one?

• Please call our Lottery Funding Helpline on 0845 275 00 00 or go to the Lottery Funding website www.lotteryfunding.org.uk.
• You can do a general search that will suggest the most suitable lottery distributor(s) for your project.
