Summary of the programme
The Young People's Fund in Scotland is a £20 million grant programme to help young people aged 11-25 learn new things and take part in healthy and positive activities that make them feel good about themselves.
The Fund has been open for two years and in that time we have funded a wide variety of projects that have been run for young people by young people.
The closing date for applications on 31 August 2007, and we expect competition for the remaining funding to be high. It is important that those interested in applying before the deadline call our information team on 0870 240 2391 to find it if your project fits with our priorities and if money is still available in your area.
Groups can apply for grants ranging between £10,000 and £1 million, spread over one to four years. We cannot fund individuals, but different kinds of organisations can apply including community or voluntary organisations, charities, limited companies and statutory bodies such as local authorities or community councils.
