International Communities
Area: UK Closing date: 30 April 2008 Minimum grant: £50,000 Maximum grant: £500,000 Description: We aim to fund effective projects that tackle the causes of poverty and deprivation and bring about a long term difference to the lives of disadvantaged people.
International Strategic
Area: UK Closing date: 15 February 2008 Minimum grant: £1 million Maximum grant: £5 million Description: The International programme is Big Lottery Fund’s way of helping disadvantaged communities overseas.
Breathing Places
Area: UK Closing date: 18 January 2008 Minimum grant: £1,000 Maximum grant: £10,000 Description: The Breathing Places grants programme is a UK wide small grants programme, developed in partnership with the BBC. It complements the BBC’s Breathing Places campaign.

International Small Grants
