Funding is delivered through programmes that have been designed and developed to reflect local needs and priorities. Decisions on the grants awarded in each programme are made by programme committees recruited in Wales.
Our funding programmes meet the themes, outcomes and priorities set out in policy laid down by the Welsh Assembly Government. We developed them having consulted with the voluntary and public sectors.
Underpinning our work is a commitment to our values, with principles that influence our approach to funding. We want to provide you, our customers, with a first class service and make it easy for you to find out how to access lottery funding.
A Wales Committee has been recruitedfor strategy, policy, planning, andthe management of programmes in Wales. To support them we have a management team for Wales made up ofthree business units:
- Programmes and Development
- Policy and External Affairs
- Planning and Support, led by the Director for Wales.
