England and UK programmes 2006 - 2009

The Big Lottery Fund will give out more than £2.3 billion between 2006-2009. We have now decided our list of new programmes in England. We expect to launch most of them between autumn 2005 and spring 2006.

Programmes have been identified following two public consultations and we will continue to discuss them with you as they are developed. We will make more detailed announcements about programmes in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland later in the year.

We will update the following information as more decisions are made, for instance on the focus of new programmes and how they will be delivered. We expect some of the focus to change slightly over the coming months. The names of individual programmes may also change. So continue to look at this website and register with us by sending an email to newprogrammes@biglotteryfund.org.uk to receive regular updates.

We are currently phasing out our old grants programmes, while we are developing our new ones. In this section you can find details of our old programmes in each of the four countries of the UK and when they are coming to an end. Please look at your relevant country, because there may still be time for you to apply.
