Yorkshire and the Humber Funders Forum

Promoting good practice in funding the voluntary and community sector

The Yorkshire and the Humber Funders Forum is a group of public and independent funders who are working together to improve funding in the region.

The forum is a regional group of more than 25 funders who want to promote good practice in funding the voluntary and community sector, and maximise the impact and value of funding to voluntary and community organisations.

Membership of the forum is open to funders of the third sector with a regional or sub-regional that fund voluntary or community organisations active in Yorkshire and the Humber.

The Yorkshire Grant Makers Forum is represented on the Funders Forum.

The Forum meets every three months and is currently working on an action plan for joint working, engagement with regional stakeholders, and work themes. The Big Lottery Fund chairs the Forum and supports its work.
