Awards for All gives groups an easy way to get small Lottery grants of between £300 and £10,000.
We want to fund projects which address the issues, needs and aspirations of local communities and people. We will fund a wide range of community projects aimed at developing skills, improving health, revitalising the local environment and enabling people to become more active citizens.
You can apply to Awards for All England if you are a community group, not for profit group, parish or town council, health body, or school.
You do not need to be a registered charity to apply.
You must have a bank account that requires at least two people to sign each cheque or withdrawal.
You must use the grant within one year.
See the Q&A document for more information, and read the guidance notes before applying.
We will pay for activities that will benefit the community, including:
- putting on an event, activity or performance
- buying new equipment or materials
- running training courses
- setting up a pilot project or starting up a new group
- carrying out special repairs or conservation work
- paying expenses for volunteers, costs for sessional workers or professional fees
- transport costs.
You must read the guidance notes carefully before filling in the application form. We have very clear criteria as to what we can and can’t fund.
Please note: There are amendments to the guidance notes and application form
