What’s it all about?


Parks for People is a joint initiative between the Big Lottery Fund and the Heritage Lottery Fund. The programme awards grants of between £100,000 and £5 million to revitalise historic parks and cemeteries.

The impact so far

The Parks for People programme has published its latest impact report. Reported benefits include a rise in the number of volunteers, a rise in visitor numbers, improvements in natural habitats and an increase in extra investment, among other achievements.
