What's it all about?

This programme is closed for applications

Funding was available for grant schemes that reduce the burden of CHD, stroke and cancer on people's lives.

Eligible projects included community based prevention and rehabilitation projects and specialised services for detection and diagnosis of CHD.

Applicants were expected to work in cross-sectoral partnerships & consult their Local Health Alliance in developing their grant schemes.

£500,000 was awarded for the development of stroke rehabilitation activities and up to £5m was earmarked for angiography equipment.
