The Enfys scheme aimed to dramatically increase the quality and quantity of green spaces, playing fields and sustainable development projects in communities throughout Wales. With funding of £7.5m from the New Opportunities Fund, the scheme was managed by Wales Council for Voluntary Action in partnership with Environment Agency Wales, Environment Wales and the Prince's Trust Cymru.

The New Opportunities Fund worked in partnership with Barnardo's, BTCV, The Countryside Agency, English Nature and RSWT to invite communities to apply for grants. In addition, the Fund worked with Sport England and Sustrans to manage umbrella schemes that will deliver a themed series of projects.

The £10 million Scottish Land Fund programme was launched in February 2001, to contribute to sustainable development in rural Scotland. It was an open grant programme delivered by our Award Partners, Highlands & Islands Enterprise working in partnership with Scottish Enterprise.

The Creating Common Ground Consortium led by the Northern Ireland Housing Executive, is a cross-cutting partnership of key voluntary and statutory organisations, each with a strategic and operational remit throughout Northern Ireland. The Consortium ran an open grant programme and an umbrella scheme to the total value of £5.25m.
Under the open Grant Programme, grants were available from £500 to £50,000.
